Policy and Finance
The Policy and Finance Subcommittee implements the 2026-2030 Strategic Plan Objectives from Goals 1 and 3, listed below:
> Goal 1: Promote an integrated, aligned, and family-centered early childhood system that
strengthens coordination across agencies to support the delivery of services that meet the
needs of children and families.
Objective 1.1. Develop recommendations and advocate for an integrated early childhood governance structure that continues to improve alignment and coordination across agencies, and supports shared oversight of programs, services, funding, and administration.
> Goal 3: Promote sustainable and robust funding streams at levels that provide high quality early childhood services across sectors of the early childhood system.
Objective 3.2. Develop guidance and recommendations for funding needed to ensure access to high quality early childhood services across sectors for all and to support system sustainability.
Objective 3.3. Identify and promote diversified funding sources and fiscal policy that strengthen the long-term sustainability and stability of Nevada’s early childhood system.

Participation in the Policy & Finance Subcommittee is limited to designated members, specifically the chairs and co-chairs of other subcommittees. However, all meetings are open to the public, and all are welcome to attend as observers.

We are currently accepting applications for a vacancy to serve on this subcommittee. Nevada ECAC subcommittee membership is open to the public, including the early childhood workforce, parents of young children, and community members.
