General ECAC Meetings
As the primary council of The Nevada Early Childhood Advisory Council, General Nevada ECAC meets and works together towards the goal of strengthening state-level coordination and collaboration among the various sectors and settings of early childhood programs for children from birth through 8.
General Nevada ECAC meetings are open for anyone to attend. Meetings are in the morning during the months of January, March and November, from 9:00am - 12:00pm, either in-person or on Zoom.com, with meeting locations in Northern and Southern Nevada:

Evening meetings are held during the months of May, July and September, from 5:30pm -7:30pm on Zoom.com only, in hopes families and educators alike can attend.

General ECAC Membership
The Nevada Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) is made up of members appointed by the Governor in accordance with positions outlined in Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 432A.076.
Appointed members serve as voting members of the Council and are expected to actively participate on at least one subcommittee. Members may also take on additional support or administrative responsibilities as part of their role.
Official subcommittee membership, required for inclusion on the roster, establishing quorum, and voting, is determined in accordance with ECAC bylaws. Opportunities to apply for subcommittee membership will be announced as they become available and will be posted on this website under the individual Subcommittee pages .
