Who We Are
The Nevada ECAC is made up of diverse groups of businesses, community members, educators government, agencies, non-profits, parents and family members, and Licensed child care provider representatives.
We are advocates who work to strengthen state-level coordination and collaboration among the various sectors and settings of early childhood programs.
The General ECAC is put in place to communicate issues the local communities are facing to state agencies and to recommend solutions addressing the issue. General ECAC Members are appointed by the Governor of Nevada.
Nevada ECAC Goals
The 2026-2030 Nevada ECAC Strategic Plan provides a clear, evidence-based roadmap to strengthen Nevada’s early childhood system at a time of significant fiscal, workforce, and policy uncertainty. The plan reflects ECAC’s statutory mandate under Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 432A.076 (Link to subpage you built for this) to advise the Governor, Legislature, and state agencies on early childhood policy, coordination, and systems improvement.
Nevada ECAC work is grounded in four strategic goals:
- Strengthening coordinated early childhood systems

- Advancing sustainable funding and fiscal policy
- Advocating to improve outcomes for children and families across Nevada.
